A Time to Heal discusses the life of a young wife married to someone from another tribe during a dark period of a nation's history when the least acceptable thing was associating (and least of all getting married to) with people of a different tribe. The book explores themes of loyalty in the midst of betrayal, faith and a sense of duty and honour which tugged at the heartstrings of this reviewer.
A Time to Heal is a beautiful and moving story of faith and love. Highly recommended to any reader who enjoys a good story that is well told.
Life is unfair, life hurts, and once in every while, everyone of us needs a time to heal from hurts that life throws at us. I think the author has done a great literary job and in a simple language for her target demography.
